MEBS Counseling is a behavioral health service agency designed to provide community-based services for Northern Kentucky children, adults, families, and couples. Our services are based on a person-centered model, allowing the client and their goals to drive the treatment.

  • Michelle P. Waiver services;

The Michelle P. Waiver is a Kentucky Medicaid 1915(c) Home and Community Based Waiver Service designed for individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities to help them live in their communities as independently as possible. The MPW services provided at our agency include:

Behavior Supports – a service designed to assist the participant to learn new behaviors that are directly related to their challenging behaviors. The Behavior Support Specialist will conduct a Functional Behavioral Analysis as well as design a Person Centered Behavior Support Plan.

Community Living Supports – a service that is provided on a one-on-one basis to facilitate independence and promote integration into the community for individuals residing in their own home. This can include a variety of activities such as budgeting, exercise, shopping, household care and taking part in community activities.
