Meet the Therapists


Cindy Becknell M.Ed. LPCC-S is a graduate from Xavier University in Cincinnati Ohio She is a Kentucky licensed professional clinical counselor and supervisor. She has been working with children and adolescents for 25+ years ranging from inpatient care, intensive outpatient, crisis and outpatient care. She has spent many years in supervisory, administrative roles but has always maintained her clinical role providing direct service to clients and families. Her areas of expertise include children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral issues with a focus on depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral issues. 

I completed my education at Johnson University, with a BS in Counseling, and at Our Lady of the Lake University with a Master of Social Work. My approach to treatment is one that seeks to ensure that listening and understanding is at the forefront of treatment. I enjoy working in mental health treatment because I enjoy seeing a person meet their goals and improve their life through hard work.

Zach Mockbee, CSW

I have been providing therapy for children and teens for the past 12 years and frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy techniques. I have my BA in Psychology and MS in Community Counseling and enjoy helping children learn to succeed which impacts their future. Rachelle Richardson, LPCC

Rachelle Richardson, LPCC

I have close to 30 years’ experience working with children and adults. My belief is that all individuals can experience rough times in their lives which require a listening ear. Finding someone to listen is essential to healing especially for someone who has experienced trauma. Along with a listening ear, I use Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive techniques, play therapy techniques, Biblio techniques and Reality techniques to help with trauma, depression and anxiety. I have discovered that establishing a positive therapeutic relationship is a key component to progress which I provide through openness, genuineness, and honesty. 

Pat Gunning, LCSW-S

I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, which I earned at Eastern KY University. Since joining the MEBS Counseling team in 2009, I have practiced individual psychotherapy utilizing behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy ideologies with children and adolescents. I also specialize in psychological evaluations with children and adults for intellectual disabilities, autism, etc. As a therapist and Michelle P Waiver provider, I have experience treating autism, intellectual disabilities, anxiety and behavior disorders in children and adolescents. 

Paige Brigmon, MS

Licensed Psychological Associate

Nicholas Dikeos, LPCC-S enjoys working with a variety of clients including families, adults, adolescents and school-age children (ages 10 and up). He treats issues including, but not limited to, trauma and abuse, grief, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, RAD, school related issues, and family dynamics. Nicholas’ approach to counseling is individualized to fit each client’s specific needs. He invests the time to get to know his client, and then works to identify goals that are personal and meaningful.


As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor-Supervisor, Nicholas has been practicing since 2008 and is a board approved clinical supervisor for counseling associates. He has worked in a variety of settings including hospital, residential, community, school and outpatient settings. Since 2008, Nicholas has spent much of his time providing therapy services for atrisk youth and their families, while developing and implementing several clinical programs for residential treatment centers and outpatient intensive therapy programs. Nicholas is also certified in treating Internet and Technology Addiction-with an emphasis in treating Internet Pornography Addiction.

I have been in the counseling field for over 10 years. I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling in 2010, and have worked in numerous settings, from a psychiatric hospital to crisis teams to outpatient offices. Marie Wilson, LPCC-S

I have knowledge and experience working with diverse populations, working with at-risk families and individuals as a volunteer since 2000, and has provided mental health services on a clinical level as a licensed clinical Social Worker since 2011. I provide bilingual mental and behavioral health services to individuals ages 8-65+ years of age, individuals with intellectual disabilities, as well as family therapeutic services to Hispanic families and individuals, and work with educational providers to bridge communicational gaps. I adhere to a Strength Based and Solution Focused approach to crisis response promoting resilience and the utilization of resources to enhance the natural recovery process following traumatic events. 

Margaret Martinez, LCSW

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. I graduated with a Master’s in Criminal Justice Addiction Studies and Mental Health Counseling. I have worked with individuals of all ages who have struggled with grief and loss, anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, personality disorders. I like to use person centered, solutionfocused therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. My goal is to help each individual work through their seasons of life by allowing for a safe,

Kim Newman, LPCA

You can expect a very grounded, non-judgmental approach when working with me. I’m open to both short term and long-term treatment that’s tailored to your needs.


As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am able to assist with issues such as depression and anxiety, issues surrounding race and gender/sexuality, stress management, improving communication skills, parenting and attachment, and ADHD symptom management. I am also DBT and trauma focused and informed.

Anna Humes, LCSW, LISW-S

I've been working with children, adolescents, and adults since 2011; receiving my LPCA in 2014 and my LPCC in 2015. I've been with MEBS Counseling since 2013.

I have my bachelors of psychology from Northern Kentucky University and my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University


I work most with children and adolescents; commonly with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, oppositional conduct disorder, reactive attachment disorder, mild mental disabilities, autism, and post-traumatic stress disorder.


My approach typically involves person centered, behavior modification, and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT).

Katy Hoffman, LPCC

I work with both children and adults and adhere to a caring and compassionate approach with clients. I completed my Master’s Degree, in Clinical Social Work, at the University of Kentucky and have worked in the field of mental health for over fifteen years! Far from a conventional therapist, I guide clients with various challenges, such as coping with trauma, autism, life transitions, and a variety of other disorders. One of my core beliefs is that how you think directly correlates with many choices and experiences. Using a holistic approach, I utilize evidence-based practices, such as Trauma focused CBT, SFT, Expressive therapies, biblio-therapeutic and person-centered approaches, Gestalt therapy, and Individual Informed DBT. In addition, I refer clients to other local practitioners providing pharmacological treatments, as well as homeopathic and nutritional/herbal assistance.

Jennifer Hawkins, LCSW

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and have been providing therapeutic services to children, their families, and adults for 10 years. I provide a variety of interventions to address symptoms associated with a number of mental health disorders that include Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Major Depressive Disorders, and Trauma. Additional clinical services that I provide include mental health assessments in order to help identify a mental health diagnosis.



Jamie L. Siler, MS, LPCC-S

I received a Bachelor of Art degree in psychology from Fisk University, Nashville, TN in 1998 and a Master’s of Arts degree in community/agency counseling from Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH 2008. I chose to become a mental health professional after becoming a single mother and realizing that life was greater than I, leaving me to search for a future in helping others through the counseling sector. In building and maintaining therapeutic relationships it is important for me to be able to meet those that I help where he or she is, and serve as an ear and offer a “conversation”.



Danielle Gilbert, LPCC-S 

Chrissy Timmerman, MA, LPAT is a Board-Certified Art Therapist. She received her undergraduate degree at the College of Mount Saint Joseph and her Master’s Degree in Expressive Therapies from the University of Louisville. Chrissy has ten years of experience working with children and adolescents in residential, partial hospital, and school settings. At MEBS Counseling, Chrissy is a Behavioral Health Professional who provides school-based therapy services. She enjoys connecting with young clients through the art making process. Chrissy helps clients use art to explore emotions, increase self-awareness, boost self-esteem, and cope with stressors. In her free time, Chrissy enjoys exercise, being outdoors, and family time.

I am Certified Social Worker. I graduated from University of Louisville in 2010 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work with an Alcohol and Drug Counseling Specialization. I love the rural area and decided to practice in Falmouth. Growing up here and being able to come home and help those in my community is awesome. I feel that this experience allows me to better and more easily connect with populations served. One thing I have learned while practicing and from a former colleague is this simple truth: One needs to know you care before they care what you know.

Brandon Gregg, CSW

I have been practicing as a Mental Health Professional for over 3 years. I attended Campbellsville University and received a Bachelors and Master’s Degree in Social Work. My approach for treating Anxiety, Depression, and other disorders is CBT, DBT, Solution-focused, and Person-Centered Practices. Over the years I have had the opportunity to advocate and treat individuals in many environments including schools, offices, homes, and detention centers. What I love most about being a mental health professional is the ability to meet so many incredible individuals and support them through their journey in life.

Aris Kuntz, CSW

As a Clinical Social Worker, I am able to assist with issues such as depression and anxiety, improving communication skills, parenting and attachment, and ADHD symptom management. Anna Huff, CSW 

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Kentucky. I earned my Education Specialist Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Murray State University. My approach to counseling is primarily focused in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have helped individuals from a variety of backgrounds better manage their grief and loss, depression, anxiety, stress, ADHD, low selfesteem, and more. My goal is to help my clients achieve the improvements that they want to see in their lives and daily functioning. I am a very easy person to get along with and I pride myself on the positive relationships I form with my clients. I offer my clients a safe and judgement free environment where their well-being is always prioritized.
